Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known as Paul Wesley, is an Oscar-winning director and actor famous for his work in the well-known television drama the show The Vampire Diaries. Paul Wesley has won several accolades, such as Teen Choice Awards, Young Hollywood Awards as well as various nominations for his television character. Wesley was born within New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest in acting. Later he enrolled at Rutgers University. After realizing that his talents as an actor could make a difference in a career, he decided to quit. In the beginning, he was a part of the American TV show Another World. He played the lead in Wolf Lake, a CBS TV series two years after. The apex of his professional career when he started playing Stefan Salvatore in the American television show The Vampire Diaries. He was the director of a couple of episodes in the series as well. In the years since the film's debut in The Last Run, he's appeared in a number of popular movies. In recent times, he was as a character in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as support roles. The popularity of his social media accounts is quite high, with an impressive 13 million followers on Instagram and over 4.1,000,000 followers on Twitter.
