Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her showbiz career from a young age. At the age of 16, she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous shows on television. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several significant national and international productions. These projects include the British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
