Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only children to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various shows on television by the time she turned 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's work has led her to work on a number of notable international and national projects. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, Greek drama film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
