Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met during an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. When she converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience through social networks.
