A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. A winner of both the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through a lot of struggle and immense patience. Jones had a poor and difficult life as the child of an unwed mother with five children. Her mother had been constantly shifting and even lived in the basement. Jones lived a nomadic existence that forced her to change schools every year until the age of high school. Jones was kept apart from her family at Theodore Roosevelt in order to compete in track and field events. Jones was part of four families during her time in high school in order study all in the same place. Jones won her the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Award for the Best Athlete during her time at school. She also was an active member of the school orchestra, as cellist. Jones was one of the college's best hurdlers after entering. Jones won the 100-meter challenge during the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was a part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. Jones was the NCAA Champion in indoor hurdles both in the year 2003 as well as 2014. Jones began her track and field career in 2005 when she completed her studies at the university. Jones was the winner of Torino Memorial in 2005, and also Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

The family was raised and born from Cape Town South Africa Brandt moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her in her late teens. Her talent was discovered in Auckland through the local cast director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia for her role on the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight), she quickly became a hit. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite Vertigo/DC character from comic books and the Vertigo/DC show Lucifer was her role in the cult Netflix show. Forbes named Lucifer as the top series that was watched on a binge in 2021. Brandt will next appear opposite Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and others Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. She will also be starring alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town, South African. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt along with the other members of her family moved from the United States to Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. After just a couple of years working in the retail sector her promotion was to IT manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, and then began to appear in commercials. She graduated in 2008 from her majors and studied Meisner techniques for studying. Lesley's very first prominent acting work was with the TV drama arrangement Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up on The New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting support role. The next time she appeared on the show was This Is Not My Life. It is based off the true story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
