Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael is a graduate of NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough to be able from an early age to work with some of Australia's top storytellers and performers, as well as pioneers in the film, TV and theatre industries. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was thrilled to discover her new residence when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to high praise, was her home. New York City. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors from it's Bushwick studio.
