Megan Gale
Gale aged 18 was 18 when she won a Perth model competition in her early teens. After many years of modeling, Gale rose to fame when she was commissioned in 1999 for a role in a set of ads for the Italian telecommunications company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and was featured in the advertisements of the company until 2006.She was also hired with the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia to Italy'. Gale graced covers for Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale has worked with Italian designers such as Gianfranco Fere Genny And Gai Mattiolo and also in the fashion shows for Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale favors many Australian fashion designers including Colette Dinnigan as well as Kirrily. Johnston. Willow, Alex Perry, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, etc. In 2006, she served as presenter for the Australian television awards, the Logies. Gale revealed in January of 2008 that she would be retiring in fashion after fifteen prosperous years. A few weeks later, at the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the final time on the catwalk. Her last outfit was the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the still-shelved production Justice League of America. Gale returned to the runway in March 2011, and concluded Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
