Maria Menounos
Maria helped her mother with the stage 4 brain cancer. Maria was able to recognize that she was suffering from an extremely serious health condition. In February 2014 Menounos started experiencing troubling symptoms. She has told PEOPLE they've noticed headaches and lightheadedness since February 2014. My speech became blurred and I was having difficult comprehension of the teleprompter. Menounos had been diagnosed as having a massive meningioma brain tumor. A MRI confirmed the diagnosis. Menounos scheduled an appointment to visit her neurosurgeon mother, Dr. Keith L. Black. The surgeon scheduled the surgery on June 8 for Menounos 39th birthday. Dr. Black stated that the tumor was 98 per cent benign. The only thing is that we will not be able to know until they get there. Dr. Black managed to eliminate 99.9% of benign tumors in a complex surgery that took seven hours. According to Dr. Black, there is the possibility that it will return. This is my most reliable chance to bet. Menounos, who was admitted to hospital for 6 days, is currently at home and is spending her time healing.
